Dr. Jagdish Sethi is a leading expert in kidney transplantation with over 15 years of experience. He has performed more than 2,500 transplants, including 1,500 independently, and over 2,000 laparoscopic nephrectomies. As India's sole surgeon performing robotic kidney transplants, he exemplifies cutting-edge medical innovation.
Dr. Sethi completed his postgraduate fellowship in renal transplant and dialysis access surgery at John Hunter Hospital, Australia. He initiated the deceased donor kidney transplant program at Max Healthcare and excels in ABO incompatible transplants, transplants for HIV positive patients, and paired exchange transplants. His expertise includes paediatric kidney transplants and those involving restored kidneys from donors with tumours.
Specialised in dialysis access surgeries, Dr. Sethi is proficient in AV fistulas, PTFE grafts, and laparoscopic PD catheter insertion. Actively involved in research, his dedication and advanced techniques ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
